La Perla founded by Ada Masotti in Bologna year 1954, an market leader in underwear and swimwear, in the sixties. the son of Alberto Masotti, after graduated in medicine, decided to dedicate himself to the family company and today is the president of La Perla Group. In 2004 La Perla celebrated it first fifty years of activity, La Perla a top class brand. The company has certainly aspired to this. Although the company is mostly known for its stylish lingerie, it now has twenty different product lines, including Marvel which is renowned for its beautiful cocktail dresses. The main line, La Perla, also produces perfumes and eyewear.
